Biotech Cell Therapy Company — Feature Landing Pages & Web Expansion
This project involved designing a series of new, high-impact pages for a biotech company working in cell therapy. While the client had an established website, these pages were created to support major growth initiatives and function more like high-end tech launch experiences—while still living cohesively within the existing site structure.
One of the primary challenges was elevating the look and feel of these pages without fully redesigning the site. Another was balancing dense, scientific content with a more engaging, visually driven experience. To achieve this, we researched competitors and identified opportunities to move away from a textbook-style presentation in favor of something more modern and innovative.
A key visual shift was limiting the use of white backgrounds and instead emphasizing deeper tones already present in the brand palette.
Navy and light blue were used more intentionally through static sections and video overlays to create a more polished, high-tech aesthetic. Interactive elements were introduced to encourage exploration and reduce the perceived heaviness of the content, while a new text hierarchy system—using background color blocks behind key messaging—helped break up copy and guide users through the page.
In addition to design, I worked closely with the client to remotely direct a photo and video shoot to ensure strong product and process visuals. Following launch, ongoing UX audits using Microsoft Clarity informed iterative refinements, helping improve user engagement and conversion rates. The final result is a set of elevated, highly engaging pages that position the client as an innovative leader within their space.
