Conceptual Kombucha Branding & Packaging Design
This conceptual project focused on developing a cohesive brand identity and packaging system for a fictional kombucha company. The goal was to create a visual language that felt organic, authentic, and approachable—reflecting the brand’s commitment to natural brewing methods and simple, wholesome ingredients.
To help the brand stand out in a crowded kombucha market, a tall can format was selected as a modern alternative to the more medicinal, bottle-forward packaging commonly associated with the category. This choice allowed for stronger shelf presence while reinforcing a lifestyle-oriented, contemporary feel.
The color palette was inspired by natural ingredients and translated into muted, trend-forward tones that appeal to the target audience without feeling overly saturated.
Simplified line illustrations of featured fruits were incorporated to add visual interest while maintaining a clean, refined aesthetic. These illustrations subtly echo organic forms found in nature, supporting the brand’s emphasis on authenticity and minimal processing.
Typography played a key role in defining the brand’s personality. A bold serif typeface with soft, natural curves was paired with a light sans serif to create balance, hierarchy, and readability across the packaging system. Together, these elements form a cohesive identity that feels modern yet grounded—clearly communicating the brand’s values while remaining approachable and shelf-ready.
