Outsource Medical Billing & Coding — Conference Collateral Design

This project involved the design of a tri-fold brochure for an outsourced medical billing and coding company looking to refresh the look and feel of their promotional materials for in-person conferences. Acknowledging the traditionally stale nature of the industry, the client wanted materials that felt more energetic and engaging—while still communicating trust, reliability, and professionalism.

Given the content-heavy nature of the brochure, a key focus was maintaining a clean, uncluttered layout that aligned with expectations in the medical field. Information was carefully organized through clear hierarchy, intentional spacing, and thoughtful pacing across the folds to ensure readability and ease of navigation for conference attendees reviewing the piece on the go.

To introduce energy and visual interest, I leaned into the client’s bold yet complementary blue and orange color palette.

design, softened with consistent corner rounding on opposing edges to strike a balance between precision and approachability.Layering elements and extending backgrounds beyond the brochure folds helped guide the viewer’s eye naturally from panel to panel, creating a sense of flow and continuity.

To support the conference presence as a whole, a cohesive set of pop-up banners was also designed to work seamlessly alongside the tri-fold handouts and an existing booth backdrop provided by the client. The banners reinforced key messaging, strengthened brand recognition from a distance, and ensured all materials worked together as a unified visual system. Because blue and orange are such strong colors, additional color use was kept minimal and restrained—allowing the full booth setup to feel polished, professional, and trustworthy while still standing out on a crowded tradeshow floor.
