Predictive Health Platform — Website Redesign & UX Strategy
This project involved a full website redesign for a predictive health company leveraging an AI-powered platform to analyze a wide range of blood biomarkers for early disease detection and preventative care. The client’s existing site was built around outdated information and workflows, creating a need to rethink both the site structure and the user journey to better reflect their evolving product and target audience.
I led the reworking of the site map and overall information architecture, shifting the experience toward a more provider-focused journey. Design decisions were informed by the behaviors, priorities, and expectations of a highly educated, clinical audience—ensuring the site clearly communicated value while supporting deeper exploration of the platform.
From a visual standpoint, a key challenge was balancing the brand’s playful, color-forward palette with accessibility and credibility. Many of the mid-tone brand colors did not meet WCAG contrast standards when paired with text, so the design relied primarily on the brand’s deep blue and teal, supported by cool grays for readability and structure. Brighter brand colors were reintroduced through accent imagery and subtle visual
moments, allowing the site to remain compliant while still feeling on-brand and engaging. Hand-drawn marker lines—an existing brand element—were thoughtfully incorporated into backgrounds, imagery, and accents to reduce visual sterility and help guide the user’s eye across the page.
I also worked closely with the development team to bring a highly detailed product overview page to life. This single-page experience served as a comprehensive deep dive into the platform, organizing information across more than 60 health areas and biomarkers into expandable, scannable sections. Careful planning was required to establish a clear hierarchy, maintain cohesion across dense content, preserve page performance, and ensure the experience translated fluidly to mobile devices.
The final result was a modern, accessible website that aligned with the company’s advanced technology and preventative care mission—balancing depth with clarity, credibility with approachability, and complex information with an intuitive user experience.
